Mr Andrew Lim is the Group Chief Financial Officer of CapitaLand Limited. In his current role, he has direct oversight of the functions of treasury, financial reporting and controls, risk management, tax, investor relations and capital markets compliance and looks after the administrative matters of the internal audit department of CapitaLand. He serves as the President of REITAS and has been appointed as a member of CNBC’s Global CFO Council, a member of the ISCA CFO Committee and a member of the Accounting Standards Council (ASC).
Prior to joining CapitaLand, he was at HSBC where he served as Managing Director and Head of South East Asia Advisory Coverage, Real Estate and Hospitality.
Mr Lim has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

Mr Low Chee Wah is the Head of Retail and Commercial Division for Frasers Property Singapore (“FPS”) where he is responsible for the Singapore retail and office portfolio. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Frasers Commercial Trust, an office real estate investment trust listed on the SGX with total assets of $2 billion located in Singapore and Australia.
Mr Low joined the FPS in March 2007 as General Manager, Asset Management (Office & Industrial) where he was responsible for the management of the investment property portfolio for the office and industrial property assets.
Prior to joining FCL, Mr Low held senior positions in a number of financial institutions and has over 15 years of investment banking experience in investments, divestments, capital raisings and takeovers across a number of markets in Asia.
Mr Low holds both a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws, from Monash University, Australia and is a Fellow of CPA Australia and Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Mr Chan Kong Leong was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2017. He is a Director of One Raffles Quay Pte. Ltd., Harmony Convention Holding Limited and Park Mall Pte. Ltd. Mr Chan is also a Partners’ Representative of BFC Development LLP. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Suntec REIT and was responsible for all operational matters, including asset management, investment, finance, investor relations and strategic planning.
Before joining Suntec REIT, Mr Chan was with the CapitaLand Group where he held senior management appointments including Senior Vice President, Head of Regional Investment, Asset & Fund Management of CapitaLand Mall Asia, Program Director of CAPITASTAR and Regional General Manager, West China.
Mr Chan has 20 years of private and public sector experience in managing investment, development, asset management, operations, strategic planning, stakeholder relations and corporate functions. He has held other senior management appointments in the last 13 years including Head of Corporate Finance, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications at GuocoLand Limited and Chief Operating Officer of Sembawang Kimtrans Ltd. Before his move to the private sector, Mr Chan was with the Singapore Economic Development Board where he was responsible for formulating economic engagement strategies and promoting economic linkages between Singapore and Indonesia.
Mr Chan graduated with a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Building from the National University of Singapore. As the best graduate for the entire course of study, he was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal, the Sally Meyer Gold Medal and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers Gold Medal. Mr Chan is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

As Group Head of DBS’ Capital Markets, Seat Moey oversees and supervises several teams across Asia responsible for advisory and capital markets including structuring and executing equity fund raising activities for companies, REITs and Business Trusts. Seat Moey’s extensive experience also includes structuring and originating debt and equity-linked issues and structured finance.
Seat Moey has been with DBS for over 20 years.
Recent landmark transactions include the listing on the SGX of Keppel DC REIT (the first data centre REIT), IREIT Global (German office properties), Croesus Retail Trust (Japanese retail properties) and Frasers Hospitality Trust (Global hospitality properties). These IPOs changed the landscape for REIT by introducing global assets as part of offering. DBS has also been actively involved in other IPOs including Japfa, IHH Healthcare, Global Logistics Properties and CapitaMall Asia. Under her leadership, DBS was instrumental in the investment by Temasek of A.S. Watson Holdings in 2014.
The team’s footprint extends beyond Singapore and landmark transactions include the IPO of Jinmao lnvestments and Jinmao on Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, the IPO of Bangkok Airways and Thai Hotel Investment Freehold (the two largest IPOs in Thailand) on Stock Exchange of Thailand, being the financial adviser to the sponsor of Yue Xiu REIT (the first cross border REIT in Hong Kong), and the IPO of Starhill REIT in Malaysia.

Mr Chua has extensive experience in real estate funds management and the hospitality industries, with more than 17 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, fund management, business development and asset management in the real estate sector within the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining the Manager, Mr Chua has held the position of Senior Vice President of Keppel REIT Management Limited, the manager of Keppel REIT, since May 2008, where he headed the investment team.
From January 2006 to April 2008, Mr Chua was with Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited, the manager of Ascott Residence Trust, as Director of Business Development and Asset Management. From October 2001 to December 2005, Mr Chua was with Hotel Plaza Limited (now known as Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited) as Assistant Vice President of Asset Management where he was responsible for the business development and asset management activities of the group-owned properties.
Mr Chua holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Canterbury and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
Jonathan Yap is the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ascendas-Singbridge, overseeing the finance as well as corporate strategy and development functions of the group. He was Chief Investment Officer since the formation of Ascendas-Singbridge and before his appointment as Group CFO in September 2017.
Jonathan held concurrent roles within the group. He was CEO, India from 2010 to 2015, CEO, India Funds from 2007 to 2014 and CEO, India Operations from 2004 to 2007. In addition, he was Head, Real Estate Funds, overseeing new fund initiatives and the private fund business from 2008 to 2017. Among others, he led the listing of Ascendas India Trust on the Singapore Exchange and was the CEO of its trustee-manager (Ascendas Property Fund Trustee Pte Ltd from 2007 to 2014. He was also an Assistant Group CEO of Ascendas Pte Ltd from 2012 to 2015.
Prior to joining Ascendas, Jonathan was with the Australian Securities Exchange-listed Lend Lease Corporation from 1997 to 2004. He last held the positions of Investment Director of its Asia business, and Deputy Fund Manager of Asia Pacific Investment Companies I and II. During his term, he was based in Singapore and Australia, and had regional investment, asset and development management roles. From 1992 to 1997, Jonathan was with Tan Chong Realty (the real estate arm of Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Tan Chong Group) and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, having held positions in asset management, property development and valuation.
Jonathan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management (Honours). He also holds a Master of Science in Project Management, National University of Singapore.

Jerry has been practising as a corporate and capital markets lawyer since 1993, and has advised on numerous international and domestic transactions. Jerry joined the Firm as a partner in 2001 from an international firm in Hong Kong. He was Co-Head of the Financial Services Department of the Firm prior to assuming the position of Deputy Managing Partner.
Jerry is also Head of the Firm’s REITs practice. He is the leading authority on REITs and business trusts, and has been involved in the listing of almost all the REITs and business trusts in the Singapore market. Jerry was lead counsel for the largest IPO in South-east Asia to-date. He has been involved in almost all the secondary offerings and convertible bond issues by Singapore REITs and business trusts, and has also advised on a number of listings in Malaysia. Besides capital markets work, Jerry also regularly advises on M&A and private equity transactions, establishment of private funds as well as complex securitisation and structured finance transactions.

Mr Jonathan Quek

Jonathan has been with Citi since 2004. He is Head of Citi Singapore Investment Banking and Co-head of Citi’s Asia Pacific real estate and lodging franchise. He has extensive experience in M&A, equity/equity-linked and debt transactions advising on over 80 transactions over the past decade.
Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management (Summa Cum Laude), double majoring in Finance and Accounting, and a Masters in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University.
Tham Kuo Wei is both an Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd. He increased the size of the Mapletree Industrial Trust portfolio from S$2.1 billion at listing on 21 October 2010 to S$4.2 billion as at 31 December 2017.
Prior to joining the Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd., he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (from August 2009) and Chief Investment Officer (from April 2008 to August 2009) of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd’s Industrial Business Unit where he was responsible for structuring, setting up and managing real estate investment platforms in Singapore and the region.
Prior to this, he was the Chief Investment Officer of CIMB-Mapletree Management Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia from July 2005, and he was responsible for setting up and managing the private equity real estate fund. He was instrumental in securing investments from institutional investors in Malaysia and overseas. He was also responsible for sourcing and acquiring completed assets as well as managing development projects across the office, retail, industrial and residential sectors.
Before Kuo Wei’s secondment to CIMB-Mapletree Management Sdn. Bhd., he was the Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Mapletree and was responsible for the portfolio of Singapore commercial, industrial and residential assets. He joined Mapletree in June 2002 as Project Director for its new Business and Financial Centre project at the New Downtown in Singapore. Prior to joining Mapletree, he held various positions in engineering and logistics management in PSA Corporation from 1993 to 2002.

Ms Jill Smith is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Manager. She works with the Board to determine the strategy of the REIT. Ms Smith is also responsible for the overall day-to-day management and operations of the REIT, and works closely with the Manager’s investment, asset management, financial, operations plus legal and compliance teams to meet the REIT’s strategic, investment and operational objectives.
Ms Smith has over 40 years of experience as an investment management professional in Asia and Europe. She has extensive experience in portfolio management, business development and management, as well as in sales and marketing. Previously to joining the Manager, Ms Smith held several senior executive positions within Manulife Asset Management. She was Senior Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Manulife Asset Management (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Ms Smith was previously a Director of several Manulife overseas entities.
Prior to joining Manulife in 2007, Ms Smith was with Western Asset Management (Singapore), Rothschild Asset Management (Singapore) and Lazard Investors (Singapore). Before moving to Singapore in 1993, Ms Smith held a number of senior positions with leading U.K. financial companies.
Ms Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education, both from Durham University, UK.
Gek Khim is a tax partner specialising in corporate tax and is the real estate tax leader for Singapore. She joined EY in 2000. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Director in the then Interpretations and Treaties Branch of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
Gek Khim specialises in corporate tax and is actively involved in advising clients on corporate tax planning, restructuring and other arrangements, in real estate and asset management industries. She advised on tax structuring and tax issues on capital market transactions and led the Singapore tax team on the initial public offerings of a number of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Business Trusts in Singapore. She also worked on the tax structuring for real estate funds and has assisted clients in setting up such funds investing in Singapore and outside Singapore, including negotiations with the IRAS for tax rulings.
She was part of the EY tax team that worked closely with the Singapore authorities to develop the first taxation framework for REITs and continues to be actively involved in the enhancement to the framework.
Gek Khim has a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and an accredited tax advisor with the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals, a member of the regulatory sub-committee of the REIT Association of Singapore, REDAS Honorary Tax Advisor and a member of the Income Tax Board of Review.
