REITAS just concluded our second successful run of the “Rules & Ethics” course for holders of the Capital Markets Service (CMS) license in the REIT Industry last week. About 130 participants attended the full-day course to earn the 6 core SFA CPD hours on Rules & Ethics, a newly introduced requirement by MAS.
We sincerely thank our presenters for the preparation & engaging presentation and the participants for their positive feedback.
Maybank Private in partnership with REITAS hosted a Real Investment Trusts (REITs) Talk for 60 of their Private Banking clients at the Masons Table.
The evening commenced with a SREIT outlook by Mr Mark Chua, Maybank Asset Management followed by presentations from Mr Rob Wallace, CEO of Frasers Logistics & Industrial Trust and Mr Tony Tan, CEO of CapitaLand Mall Trust.

The 4th annual Citi-REITAS-SGX C-Suite Singapore REITs and Sponsors Forum took place in Singapore on 22 August. As in previous years, the format featured one-on-one and small group meetings.
Key highlights include an address by Mr Matthew Song, SVP, Head of Client Coverage of Singapore Exchange, followed by an insightful presentation by Mr Tom Duncan, Executive Director, Data Center Solutions, Advisory & Transaction Services, CBRE APAC, on “Is Singapore Losing its Competitive Edge in Data Centres?”. Thank you both!
A total of 28 REITs, 2 sponsors, about 100 institutional investors from 51 companies participated this year. Our appreciation goes to Citi and SGX for co-organizing the event.

Our quarterly education series for retail investors was held at the SGX Centre yesterday evening. The audience learned about the basics of REITs investing and heard presentations from AIMS APAC REIT and IREIT Global. The evening concluded with a Q&A session using the pigeonhole app.
