REITAS organized a well-received half-day seminar for independent directors of REIT managers yesterday. Topics included “What IDs need to know when acquiring overseas properties”, “Case study of a REIT merger”, “Dialectical thinking for IDs” as well as a lighter topic on the new trend of coliving. Our quarterly education series for retail investors was packed with stimulating questions from the audience during the Q&A session using the Pigeonhole app. The audience learnt about the basics of REITs investing and heard presentations from Cromwell European REIT and ESR-REIT.
