REITAS was pleased to be a supporting partner of WIBC Capital Markets Summit Asia (WIBC Asia 2019). The event was convened by Middle East Global Advisors in strategic partnership with SGX and was held on 1 and 2 July 2019 at SGX Centre. The conference aimed to bring together more than 200 bankers, economists, bond issuers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, institutional investors, funds, among others, to discuss and identify investment opportunities in the Asian region. Conference participants will be flying down from UAE, Oman, UK, Australia, Malaysia, along with relevant professionals based in Singapore.

REITAS co-organized an event with EY’s Global REITs team on Emerging Trends in REITs. EY’s REIT experts based in US and Europe shared their insights and perspectives on emerging trends in the REIT space, trends in REIT structures, thriving in the age of technology and digital disruption, among other topics.

Our popular REIT Management Course held its 4th run on 29 and 31 May.
REIT Symposium 2019 was full-day event at Marina Bay Sands for retail investors to learn more about REITs, hear presentations from REIT managers etc, visit booths set up by each REIT and chat with each REIT’s Investor Relations and senior management teams. The event also included mini-presentations on REITs 101 and panel discussions. A total of 33 REITs participated which represents over 75% of Singapore listed REITs. The event drew a crowd of around 1200 people and is the largest REIT-focused event for retail investors in Singapore!
