REITAS conducted an in-person seminar on 31 March (9.15am-1.30pm) on “What you need to know as an Independent Director of a REIT manager” which focused on How Boards can drive the Sustainability Agenda.
This is our annual flagship event for Independent Directors of REIT Managers which has been very successful in past years. The session would also be useful for C-suite of REIT managers and other senior management.
This is also a prescribed course that directors may attend to fulfill the new SGX requirements with regard to director’s training on sustainability.

REITAS and Moody’s Investor Service jointly organized a webinar on “Understanding Credit Ratings for Singapore REITs”.
The programme comprised of a presentation by Moody’s Senior Vice President Jacintha Poh followed by a panel discussion with Clifford Lee of DBS and Yeow Kit Peng of Ascendas REIT on the usefulness of these ratings for REITs and investors.
We conducted our popular 2-day REIT Management course in-person on 23 & 24 February at InterContinental Hotel.
As before, the course comprises of 9 modules which will cover all key aspects of REIT management. Instructors are senior practitioners in the REIT industry. This is a great course for junior-mid level staff to get a comprehensive, practical understanding of REIT management.
Ms. Cecilia Tan, CEO of Sasseur REIT shared updates on the REIT and answered audience questions posed on pigeonhole. It was a very engaging session.
