REITAS Conference 2021 took place yesterday and it was wonderful to get the industry together for half a day of thought leadership. After months of planning and one cancellation, we were cautiously excited to bring back our popular Fund Raising for REITs course for our enthusiastic attendees. This mask-on vaccinated event was a welcome change from WFH!

Thank you EY – Simon Yeo, Praveen Tekchandani and Nhan Quang for your in-depth training session today on “Navigating the MAS Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management for REIT Managers”. Topics discussed included Developments in the Regulatory landscape of environmental and climate risks, addressing key challenges of the MAS Guidelines including how to identify and assess climate risks, making disclosures in line with TCFD recommendations and emerging social sustainability trends. For the last one hour, we were delighted to have a distinguished panel comprising of Lynette Leong of CapitaLand, Yulanda C. of DBS Bank and Zoe Lau of BlackRock.
It was half a day of fantastic learning and sharing with excellent feedback from the 230+ attendees!
