REIT Symposium 2019 was full-day event at Marina Bay Sands for retail investors to learn more about REITs, hear presentations from REIT managers etc, visit booths set up by each REIT and chat with each REIT’s Investor Relations and senior management teams. The event also included mini-presentations on REITs 101 and panel discussions. A total of 33 REITs participated which represents over 75% of Singapore listed REITs. The event drew a crowd of around 1200 people and is the largest REIT-focused event for retail investors in Singapore!

Our quarterly education series for retail investors was packed with stimulating questions from the audience during the Q&A session using the Pigeonhole app. The audience learnt about the basics of REITs investing and heard presentations from Ascott Residence Trust and Frasers Commercial Trust.
REITAS and DBS jointly hosted a highly successful event to connect REIT Managers and DBS’ Private Bank clients. Apart from insightful presentations by Derek Tan, DBS Group Research, David Snyder, CEO of Keppel-KBS US REIT and Beh Siew Kim, CEO of Ascott Residence Trust, there was a “Meet-the-CEOs” session where their PB clients had the opportunity to interact with key executives of REIT Managers
