REITAS with the help of the team at PwC organized a webinar on Financial and Tax Deal considerations for Real Estate Investments in UK and China. It was well attended by more than 120 REITAS members.
Our sincere appreciation to the PwC team for an informative and useful session!

We are excited to announce that our refreshed & updated Online Rules & Ethics Course 2021 is ready for registration.
Similar to last year, the basic format remains the same. It is designed such that you can work through the different modules at your own pace and time. CMS licensees will be awarded 6 core SFA CPD hours on successful completion of all 6 modules of the course.
For this year, we have added 3 more modules so attendees can select 6 modules of their choice, out of the 9 modules available. Do note that once the selection is made at the start of the course, they cannot change their module choices.
We have incorporated changes on the new portal from the feedback we received last year so hopefully, attendees will find the experience more user friendly. The pass mark for each module is 11 correct answers out of 15 questions and attendees can retake any module if they fail that module i.e. get less than 11 marks anytime without contacting the administrator.
As a gentle reminder, all Capital Market Service (CMS) licensees are required to complete 9 CPD hours every calendar year, of which 6 hours have to be on Rules & Ethics. However, do note that the course is not limited to CMS licensees and can be useful for anyone involved in the S-REIT sector.
Please refer to the flyer for details.

After the success of our REIT Management course in March, we are excited to bring to you another popular course titled Fund Raising for REITs. This in-person course will be conducted on June 25 at InterContinental Hotel. The course provides a comprehensive understanding of the various fund raising instruments available to a REIT, including a session on sustainable finance. The course will also cover key regulatory considerations when raising funds and a case study by AREIT.
Please refer to the flyer for details.
