REITAS hosted our Annual Networking Lunch yesterday, and the energy in the room was truly exceptional. With a fantastic turnout, the event was buzzing with lively conversations, meaningful reconnections with old friends, and exciting introductions to new faces across the REIT and real estate ecosystem.
The presentation by Dr Chua Hak Bin on “Macro Outlook 2026: Riding on AI and Rate Cuts” was very well received, sparking thoughtful discussions and timely perspectives on the road ahead.
From insightful exchanges to spontaneous collaborations, the afternoon was a powerful reminder of the strength of our community and the value of coming together beyond the boardroom. A big thank you to all our members who made the time to join us and helped make this one of our most vibrant networking lunches yet.

We successfully conducted our in-person ½-day Sustainability Training for Directors of a REIT Manager, with strong participation from independent directors and senior management.
The session covered the latest sustainability-related regulations, ISSB reporting standards, insights from the new Knight Frank–REITAS Climate Readiness Report, and developments in the sustainable debt markets. Participants also explored key board considerations around energy, emissions and water, as well as the latest updates from COP 30.
We concluded with a panel discussion on practical ways to accelerate sustainability progress by addressing the gaps highlighted in the Knight Frank–REITAS report.
